How to Grill a Chicken in a Microwave Oven

Do not thaw it at room temperature, however, this can cause bacteria to grow if it sits out for two or more hours; thaw the chicken in the refrigerator. Wash your hands before and after handling the chicken and clean all spaces that the raw meat touches to prevent contamination.

Combine broth, salt, pepper and lemon juice in the microwave-safe bowl and mix thoroughly.

Set the number of boneless chicken breasts you wish to grill, in the dish. Be sure the thickest parts face the outside of the dish.

Cover the chicken breasts and mixture with a lid and leave a corner open for proper ventilation.

Check the package of chicken for the weight, so you can cook properly. Cook on medium for approximately six minutes per pound. .

Remove from the microwave when the chicken is done cooking. Place a meat thermometer in the thick part of the meat and if it is at least 180 degrees Fahrenheit, it is properly cooked.
