Cooking sausage in the NuWave Oven, a countertop appliance that uses infrared technology, is a cinch. The technology of the NuWave Oven allows food like sausage to be cooked faster while still maintaining a rich flavor and juicy texture. Cooking times are determined by thickness, so take note of the size of your sausage patties or links.

Step 1

Remove the dome on the NuWave Oven and place your sausage patties and links on the cooking rack, which should be on top of the pan liner.

Step 2

Place the dome back.

Step 3

Enter the cooking time for the sausages on the oven's timer in hours and minutes, if appropriate. Sausage that is 1 inch thick should take between eight and 10 minutes total time to cook.

Step 4

Determine the appropriate level of power; it would be best to cook sausage at the highest level, or level 10, which is equivalent to 350 degrees F.

Step 5

Press the "Start" button to begin the cooking process.

Step 6

Push the "Pause" button halfway through the cooking time and turn the sausage links or patties over.

Step 7

End the cooking process when the sausages are ready by pressing the "Pause" button twice.

Step 8

Remove the top dome and serve the sausage.
